Mad Hatter Punkin Hat

I hear this in a movie once:

"I'll bet you were thinkin' - Now why don't she write?"

Well, we've been looking at apartments and getting ready for another move to a different home. We've also been looking for permanent jobs as we figure the contract will be up here in about 6 more months.

In the meantime, I've been doing a bit of crafting. I made this Mad Hatter mini hat for my small pumpkin.

How do you like it? Any suggestions on how to put a Mad Hatter face on this? Paint? Carve? (I'm a lousy carver, by the way). hhhhmmmmmmm
