Happy Thanksgiving

There are many things to be thankful for today.

I'm thankful I'm alive. There were times I didn't think I'd make it.

I'm thankful to have my family in as good a health and as happy in their own lives as they are. I have a wonderful family and my only wish in life would be to have them live closer together so I can see them all at once when I visit.

I'm thankful for a job (even if it's temporary) and a roof with food in the fridge. There were times I didn't have either.

I'm thankful for the internet which has allowed me to find good friends from my past and make new friends for my future. It's also taught me the value of privacy.

I'm thankful for my vehicle and those I've had in the past. They always started up, heated up and kept me at one point in my life with a roof over my head. (Yep, I was homeless once and living on the streets.)

I'm thankful for our family pets who challenge us everyday with patience, control and the need not to give them the boot because they really are adorable. Annoying as all get out - but adorable, nonetheless.

I'm thankful for music. Without it, I cannot imagine a fantasy world that I am now putting into story form because, for some strange reason, I have no imagination until the music starts playing. Weird, I know, but there you have it. I guess extreme stress most of my life has taken away a lot of the "fun" gene until the music plays. Thank God for music.

This will be a simple post today because I'm in a simple kinda mood. I'm at work, I'm filled with a lot of good food, good feelings and good will. I hope ya'll have the same day and more. Thank you for putting up with me and my ramblings and I hope to post more soon. God Bless :)
